• Color Our World

  Funded Dec 18, 2024

  Thank you again for your support in the purchase of a color printer for my classroom. With the printer, I am able to create a vibrant, print rich environment to aid in my teaching and student learning.

  The students are so excited when I present new vocabulary words with color photos that assist all students, specifically my ELL's in the comprehension of the stories. During small group time I was able to create colorful charts and manipulatives for hands on learning. I could not be any happier with this purchase!”

• Brighten Up Our Learning!

  My students LOVE the light table! It has brought back the excitement to our Science Area. I had to make a waiting list for them to use it, so you know its a hit! At times it is used just for everyday sorting and fun, and other times its used for deeper investigating.

  Every year we do the Pet Study, and our students couldn't wait to pretend being veterinarians and light up the pet X-rays! When I see and hear them talking about bones, caring for injured animals and being doctors someday, it makes me smile.

• Pre-K Basics

  Funded Nov 29, 2023

  We were so excited the day our packages arrived! I had been telling my students that we were waiting for some new and exciting supplies for our Art Area. I sat everyone on the carpet and we opened all the supplies together.

  Since the arrival of the supplies, we have had numerous painting projects at the art easel. From self portraits to animal paintings, everyone has had a turn making their creations. The play-doh was also a huge hit. My students love making pretend foods and animals with their play doh.

• Strengthening Our Skills

  Funded May 27, 2023

  Thanks to your generous donation, my students are able to learn through hands on explorations. As with all Pre-K students strengthening fine motor skills is necessary to future success. When my students were given the supplies to explore using their hands, they were beyond excited.

  The wooden tracing boards were a huge hit! I put them in the writing area, and not only were they excited about the wooden pencils, but they were engaged in social interactions while using them. Thank you again for your support!”

• Personal Learning Supplies

  Thank you for your support! My students are using the "Draw and Write" journals during Small Group time to reinforce their letter recognition and letter sound skills. They have already developed a routine of using and caring fotr them.

  The "Learning Supply Packs" have been a huge help for students, parents, and myself to ensure that they have access to all the supplies necessary to be successful!

  Having individual supplies, gives them a sense of pride and ownership to take responsibility for their learning!”

• Breath of Fresh Air!

  Thank you so much for your donation! With your support we have been able to have clean fresh air in the summer months and warm air so far this winter. Being comfortable in our classrom provides an environment that is ready for students to learn and grow. We don't have to worry during rest time that it's too hot or too cold to sleep. A temperature controlled classroom is especially helpful to my students who have asthma and other respiratory illnesses! We are truly grateful for your thoughtfulness!”

• Early Literacy Skills

  Thank you, thank you, thank you! These materials have provided my learners with purposeful play, active engagement, and more specifically, exposure to letters and sounds! By using these products, my students have developed fine motor skills, early literacy skills and a solid foundation to become proficient in Pre-Kindergarten.

  Reading starts here! Letter identification, identifying letter sounds, and eventually reading words, are the beginning steps to a strong reader. Keeping students actively learning is important.

  Being that I was able to purchase a variety of supplies, all students have been able to enjoy them in some capacity.”

• Keeping Our Supplies and Ourselves Safe
