Getting Ready for 3K!
Funded Aug 16, 2024I hope this note finds you well. I'm writing to personally thank you for your incredible generosity and to share the profound impact your donation has had on the 3-year-old children in my classroom. As an educator in an urban public school setting, I can't express enough how much your support has meant to both me and my students.
For many of the children in my class, starting school is a big leap into the unknown. The classroom can feel like a completely new world, and that can be overwhelming. Thanks to your contribution, I've been able to create a classroom space that feels warm, organized, and safe—helping them feel secure and ready to explore. When children walk into a space where everything has a place, they immediately feel more at ease, knowing what to expect. This has been so important in helping them transition smoothly into school life.
Your donation has allowed me to organize the classroom in a way that encourages independence and confidence. The materials and resources are now easily accessible, and the children have learned to take ownership of their environment. They know where to find their books, toys, and supplies, and are excited to do so on their own. This sense of competence and control is something they carry with them throughout the day, which in turn boosts their self-esteem.
Beyond the logistics of the classroom, the thoughtful organization has created an environment that nurtures emotional and social growth. We now have designated spaces for different activities, from group play to quiet time. These spaces help children manage their emotions, giving them the tools they need to self-regulate and learn how to navigate social interactions in positive ways. Watching them share, take turns, and begin forming friendships has been incredibly rewarding for me, and I know it's thanks to the safe, supportive environment you've helped make possible.
In a setting like ours, where resources are often limited, your support has truly been a game-changer. It's not just about the materials, but about the sense of community we've been able to build. The children feel a sense of belonging—both with each other and within the classroom—and that is something I know will stay with them throughout their school years.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness and belief in these young learners. Your donation is helping to shape their futures in ways that are beyond measure.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Alier

Funded Feb 23, 2024I hope this letter finds you well. On behalf of the pre-kindergarten students and the entire school community, I extend our deepest gratitude for your generous support of our recent project. Thanks to your contributions, we acquired a sublimation printer, printer ink, a heat press, and various sublimation blanks, which have had a profound impact on our young learners.
This project has truly brought our classroom to life. The students' creativity blossomed as they saw their designs materialize in vivid colors on canvas bags, puzzles, fabric sheets, and other items. Each child had the opportunity to create personalized pieces that were used in a variety of meaningful ways, including end-of-the-year gifts for parents, class gifts, and decorations for our classroom.
The impact of this project has been far-reaching:
Enhancing Creativity and Expression: The sublimation equipment provided a unique platform for the children to express themselves artistically. It was heartwarming to witness the pride on their faces as their imaginative drawings and designs came to life. This process not only fostered creativity but also boosted their confidence.
Building Fine Motor Skills: The hands-on activities involved in designing and transferring images helped develop the children's fine motor skills. They learned to handle the materials carefully and follow steps methodically, which are essential skills for their future education.
Strengthening Community and Connection: The personalized gifts created by the children were given to their parents, fostering a stronger connection between home and school. Parents were thrilled to receive such thoughtful, handmade items, and the children experienced the joy of giving, reinforcing the values of generosity and gratitude.
Creating Lasting Memories: The items produced will be cherished keepsakes for years to come. Whether it was a puzzle piece with a child's drawing or a fabric sheet adorned with colorful patterns, each piece carried the essence of our students' creativity and hard work.
This project would not have been possible without your support. Your investment in our students' education has provided them with an unforgettable experience that goes beyond the typical classroom setting. The skills and memories they have gained will stay with them as they continue their educational journey.
Once again, thank you for believing in our mission and for helping us nurture the potential of our young learners. Your generosity has made a lasting difference in their lives.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Alier
