This is the first year my students can choose books they love through our new reading workshop model. I have never seen them so excited to read before! Giving them a choice has made the world of difference. We have studied fiction and nonfiction books broadly, and will end the year with a unit on fantasy. Students have come together in school and at home to share books and authors they LOVE. Your contribution will help my students have access to even more books and give them a diverse variety to choose from. The books I have chosen are books that my students BEG me to buy! "Even if you can't afford to put a child on a plane, you can give them a book and show them the world." THANK YOU for giving my students the chance to grow their love of reading!
