Pre-K LCD Drawing Tablets
Funded Oct 11, 2023How is the technology helping your students learn? The tablets have been a great addition to our classroom. They have become a large part of our Quiet Rest Time. While some prek students still need a nap, many of our students are no longer nappers. These tablets have allowed those students an exciting and engaging activity they can do in their beds at nap time. All without distracting the other students around them. We can not thank you enough for your generous it you. It has done wonders for my learners as they also strengthen their writing skills.”

Funded Jan 22, 2022Unfortunately, due to supply chain issues, our No Slip Step Stool was cancelled by the retailer and I was forced to choose different items. Thanks to your donation, I was able to purchase manipulatives to use with a homemade light table that I built for my students. Before these manipulatives, the students were very limited in what materials they could use with the light table. Your contribution has allowed my students, and students in years to come, to explore the properties of color and light while building math, language and science skills at the same time. There are many plastic tubs that are filled with a huge variety of translucent plastic pieces—from letters and numbers to pattern blocks and color chips. This allows my students to practice with everything from counting, sorting, patterns, and creating color combinations. Thanks to you my students learning has become more fun and engaging, which helps them to learn more!”

Outdoor Garden
Funded Oct 19, 2021Thank you so much for contributing to our Outdoor Garden. The students really enjoyed unpacking our boxes and exploring all the wonderful materials. They are looking forward to starting their garden. First, by choosing and starting their seeds and watching them grow to seedings. They will then transfer the seedlings to our outdoor garden. From here the students will be able to nurture and care for their plants while also beautifying our outdoor playground. Thank you again for your contribution. Without they would have never been able to be apart of such a wonderful learning experience!”
