  • Scoot'n Scooters

    I am so thankful for your interest in donating these much needed scooters for the students at my school. They have been put to good use. Students that were reluctant now want to participate! My goal as a physical education teacher is to instill the need to be physically active and I'm willing to use any means necessary to get the message through to my students. The scooters have been a great alternative means of carrying out my message. So again, I want to thank you guys so much for donating.”

    Thank you all so much for your donations. My student's eyes lit up when they saw the abundance of volley balls, footballs, and soccer balls! Because of you all, this was possible.

    Once again, thank you guys so much. Most of my students live in apartment complexes and in most cases they don't have the room to just throw a ball or kick a ball. In some cases not even own a ball. Because of your donation, my students know they have a place where they don't have to worry about that. They now have enough equipment to just be a kid!”

Baseball requires specific set of skills: throwing, catching, and hitting. The amount of equipment required to play baseball is a factor that discourages parents from allowing their child to participate. By providing the necessary equipment to play baseball, I believe kids will gain interest in the sport and will be willing to learn the skills necessary to become proficient baseball players. Baseball is a great team sport that allows teammates to depend on and encourage each other on the field and off the field. Baseball camaraderie can last for years.

About my class
