  • Week of the Young Child

    Thank you for your support! With your help my students had a great experience creating a ladybug with a rock and a wonderful time practicing their fine motor skills as well as motivating their learning skills. Even though I had a combination of virtual and in person class, together we accomplished making learning fun. The Week of the Young Child was a success thanks to your donations; the students were making bubbles, jumping with their colored jump ropes, molding a zoo animal with the play dough, and enjoying their snack drawing with the chalk.

    The best part of all, was seeing their faces when I had the privilege of giving them the supplies in their superheroes bag💜”

A super hero drawstring backpack with various items to be used for distance learning will be given to each child. These items will help give my students an enjoyable experience during the week of the young child. My students are five and 6 year old and they have difficulty staying on task throughout their online learning time. The bag of goodies will encourage them in their online education. It is important for kindergarten children to develop their fine and gross motor skills to ensure their academic success in writing and reading in the future. The playdough, coloring activity book, watercolor set, and the other items will help them develop these important skills. Please help me, help my students. They are young children and need that extra fun in their lives. They are already missing a lot and I would like to give them a little spark of encouragement and love during the week of the young child. Help me celebrate these young learners during their special week.
