K-3 grade students will participate in guided reading groups using new and exciting books! The goal is to teach them to read and also to love and appreciate books. Reading is a life long skill and hobby that will enrich their lives. Many times it is difficult to get 5 or 6 copies of the same book within the school for reading groups. With the help of this project, we won't be limited to just the decodable book sets that come with the curriculum. Non-fiction books with their favorite topics can guide our reading lessons!
