This project will allow our students to hear and read stories that have children that look like them. These books have positive messages and affirmations for students that may not have developed a high or positive self esteem and self worth. These books can provide inspiration, enlightenment and imagination to our students that face life challenges on a regular basis.
As educators, we need to provide as much support and positive experiences as possible. These books will let children know that their thoughts, feelings, and dreams are real and they are amazing little people!
