Computer Screen

Thank you so much for this wonderful addition to my classroom. Initially, this screen was used to be able to pull up additional screen-shots, etc for my students during math and science classes but became very valuable for other uses as well.

For science class, we having been teaming up with as outside community party to teach a forensic (CSI) class for science credits. The community partner supplies actors and crime scene evidence for students to exam and solve. The culminating project for the class is a mock trial. Students are divided into prosecution and defense teams to present evidence to solve the case. Thanks to your donation, the large computer screen was used in the classroom to display evidence findings for all teams during the mock trial.

I also serve as testing coordinator for my school site. The additional large computer screen was an essential tool in helping to test my students individually for the ELPAC and Smarter Balance (SBAC) exams. The screen allowed my students to be able to properly and clearly see the content of the tests while practicing the proper social distancing due to Covid-19. Another by-product of the screen was that it enhanced my work by proving additional clarity when working additional hours from my laptop for grading and other school projects.

I have raved about the new addition for my students and have encouraged colleagues to sign up for their students as well. Thank you so much for such a wonderful and valuable piece of technology for my students.”
