My second graders have been virtual since we started school back in September. Currently, we are virtual until April 13th. We are planning on moving to a hybrid model where the students will spend half of their week learning virtually at home. I would love to provide my students with a virtual learning kit. This kit would include math manipulatives to enhance their telling time and money skills. The dry erase markers will help students practice writing the time on the clocks. The pencils, sharpeners, and pencil pouch will help them keep their materials organized and in one place. The notebook will help with practicing mathematical problems. Finally, the drawstring backpacks will help my students stay organized and keep their items all in one place. This will help, especially since many of my students are in daycare and transport to and from home.
These virtual learning kits will significantly enhance my student's learning experience as well as their social-emotional well-being during this difficult time.
