Our classroom is in a trailer where the sound echoes. The students need an area they can work one to one with a teacher on ABA goals. It is very distracting and loud in our class and to maximize the learning this wall would create a specialized area to achieve the skills they need to master their goals. The students in my room need explicit instruction in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). ABA is known as the science of applying principles of behavior change to affect socially significant behaviors. The science of ABA can be so helpful to a student in the classroom. It can be used for many things, a teaching tool, a preventative tool or to maintain and generalize skills already learned. This new space will provide an appropriate learning area for this style of teaching and learning.
