Rajah Works Paper
Funded Sep 14, 2023The products that you donated will impact my students' future greatly. They will build skills that will prepare them for the workplace after graduation. It will also help them feel a sense of community by belonging to a group of productive people. This program helps build self-confidence and shows young adults that they have a place in our society. Our population is a Special Needs population and the students are often overlooked for programs as people generally feel that they cannot do the work. However, with your donation, my student can fit right in with their typical peers.
When the boxes came from the company my students were elated to find the items they needed to complete the projects they had in mind. Because the program has zero funding dollars we have to wait for generous donations like this to complete any projects. Going forward these items will service students for several years. In the future, we hope to set up a full print shop that can service not only our school but the community. All while providing opportunities for our special needs student population”
With gratitude,

This classroom project was brought to life by Panda Cares and 2 other donors.Rajah Classroom Diversity
Funded Dec 11, 2021Students in this classroom are special needs. Often they need additional support with fidgets and other item that help them cope with the stress of being in the classroom. These students also thrive with hands on projects. The items that were donated such as the pop it's and story dice provide extra support while completing work.
Students are currently assembling the robots. These lesson teach students how to read directions, assemble items, test theories and work in groups. It helps teach them to think critically and supports fine and gross motor skills. Because this is a Careers class students are also learning about careers such as assembly, robotics, IT and other careers.
By having these hands on experiences the students are able to connect directly to the careers they are researching. They can make a real life connections. It also offers them a safe place to make mistakes and learn from the mistakes. We would like to thank you for your generosity and your support to our classroom.”

Funded May 17, 2021The students have endeavored to create a t-shirt business. The sublimation printer has offered one way that students can print these t-shirts. More importantly, having the printer is teaching them workplace skills that will allow them to be more marketable when they graduate. The sublimation printer has allowed students not only to succeed but has given them a safe environment to fail.
This generous donation is offering special needs students a more hands-on experience. With multiple modalities of learning, this offers one more way to support each individual as we work towards the goal of starting a successful on-campus business.”

Rajah's Work!
Funded Apr 8, 2021I want to thank you for your generosity. My students were extremely happy when they heard about the project being funded. The project was funded the week before everyone came back to Hybrid learning. The students were able to watch as each package came in from Amazon. The excitement was a nice change to all of the heavy air that we have been breathing.
Once the entire shipment was here, we set the heat press up and turned it on. We were able to complete a few test shirts to see how it all worked. Success happened!!! Students have already completed their business plan for this business and they will be cutting Vinyl for their first customer the wrestling team. We have an order to process 20 shirts. The heat press will be a vital piece of equipment in this classroom.
Next year our special education program is expanding and we will be able to reach even more students. Once our area is fully functioning we should be able to expand to even greater heights. We have plans to obtain a sublimation printer that will allow us to iron on more than just Vinyl.
Again, I want to say thank you and let you know that your support is so appreciated by all of us at Indio High school. Your generosity is providing students with opportunities that would not normally have.”
