Over the past year and a half students have had to adjust to a new way of learning. Virtual learning was challenging for many students and impacted student academic outcomes. I know that it is going to be a heavy lift to help my students to bridge learning gaps and mastery of their grade level content. I want to update our math centers with fun meaningful games and manipulatives that will help them to reach their academic goals in math. Small group instruction is going to be even more imperative this year to close learning gaps that students gained during virtual learning and I know that my students will greatly benefit from these math centers. The games and manipulatives in this project align with major content standards that students have to master in preparation for 4th grade.
