Creating a Life-long Love of Reading
Funded Sep 30, 2023The class and I cannot thank you enough for each contribution made to help modernize and strengthen our library. This was the most funds I have set out to raise so I was nervous going in, but our friends and family, as well as a few outside donors rose to our occasion.
The kids will begin the first of our new books right after winter break as it took until nearly December to get our books. They are excited to read "Ungifted," as they love Gordon Korman's writing!
We are going to strive to get through all 6 books this year! I cannot wait to hear their thoughts on the topics and see the growth they make from the experiences!”
With gratitude,
Mr. Pittman
Building Resources, Growing Readers
Funded Mar 4, 2022Thank you so much for contributing to our cause. This year's class was able to use the last edition of Storyworks and loved it! That makes me even more excited for next school year when we will get a full year of editions.
Storyworks provided the students with a variety of fiction and non-fiction texts that included poems, plays, articles, and short stories. The students loved the variety of engaging texts. The activities that accompany the texts were engaging and meaningful. They were also directly aligned with many content standards. The online resources include videos and related activities that engage and challenge students.
Again, thank you for your generosity and kindness.”

Protecting Our Devices, Growing Our Learning
Funded Feb 26, 2021On behalf of my students and our school, I want to thank you! This project help protect our devices daily as students transported their devices to and from school every day. With the Covid-19 pandemic, we relied on Google Classroom and web based learning so much this school year. The device covers helped GREATLY to minimize damage that would have most likely occurred without them. I can proudly report that we only had TWO issues with our Chromebooks since we returned to school, and it was nothing major!
The generosity shown here greatly impresses me as a classroom teacher. Teachers often fund projects and supplies from our own pocket. Honestly, that would have not been possible with this project. So without the donors, this project would definitely not have been possible.
Again, from the bottom of our hearts, we THANK YOU!”
With gratitude,
Mr. Pittman
