Our students need to integrate technology into their daily curriculum. We currently have access to a limited amount of mobile devices and some are not up to date. In order to provide my students with the experiences they need to be successful in today's rapid growing technological world, we need to have access to up-to-date technology resources.
My students will use this iPad to make real world connections with mathematics. For example, they will apply their financial literacy skills by creating a classroom economy. This will allow them to earn class created money to earn, save, and spend according with the expenses they come up for the class. With this, students will implement fixed and variable expense as well as profit.
This device will enhance their math skills and allow them to make real world connections. I can't wait to see my students transform into a technological environment.
