Using Apps To Enhance Learning
Funded Aug 4, 2021My special needs students are very excited about the use of technology and having the ability to use different apps to access reading and spelling improving their individual phonemic awareness.
Working in an economically challenged school means that many of my students do not have the ability to work with these apps at home so having that option here at school is an added plus for them.
My students are exploring new apps and trying new things that ordinarily they wouldn't get to do. It's important to expose these children to technology because they will
Use it at some point in their adult life so exposure now while they are young is vital. Thank you again.”

Teaching with Technology!
Funded Apr 7, 2021Thank you to those that donated for this project. Working in an economically challenged school means that many of my student s don't have to ability or opportunity to use technology at home.
The ability to utilize technology with me helps my special needs students by repeating various steps and gives them the ability to see it in a new and fun format.
This technology has been useful with adding new ways to understand phonemic awareness and expands their reading comprehension for those lower level learners. Thank you again.”

Sharing Documents And Assignments For All Students
Funded Apr 27, 2021Using this technology in my classroom has helped improved special needs students comprehension of read items since they are able to practice reading throughout each day.
The ability to use this technology to practice phonemic awareness and see leveled words helps them with memorizing letters and letter sounds.
Due to teaching in an economically challenged school zone, my students don't have technology at home to practice with. The ability to use it while working with me gives them a hands on experience that they wouldn't typically receive. Thank you.”
