The Wacom digital drawing tablet I have requested will make a difference in student learning, growth, and progress. I currently use my school laptop, ScreenCastify, Microsoft Word, and MathType to host Google Meetings, and create customizing learning sessions for all students. It is arduous and time consuming to navigate through these resources in order to provide meaningful visual explanations of math concepts. Each day I may have to create as many as 10 videos ranging from 7-20ish minutes – depending on the complexity of the concept. This drawing tablet will allow me to directly write on documents that might be created by me or downloaded worksheets. The Wacom tablet provides the familiar feeling of pen on paper, it lets you capture ideas, create mind-maps, draw diagrams and more, before sharing them easily with my students and colleagues. I will be able to personalize images or videos, boosting editing skills in the process. This drawing tablet will facilitate the creation of engaging lessons, help me easily provide feedback to students, and help with our discussions.
