I think that playing with puzzles will help my students develop mental skills, which will have great benefits in their learning. The alphabet sound tubs will help my students with letter recognition and the beginnings sounds to increase their reading skills. With these items my scholars will:
-learn cognitive skills: There are a great variety of themes and types of puzzles. Through puzzles my students can learn about vegetable shapes, numbers, the alphabet, pets, transportation and colors in general.
-learn to solve problems: My students will have to concentrate in order to solve the problem: where do all these pieces go? They will develop their visual skills, analyze and decide.
-enhance social skills: Puzzles are perfect for children to engage in cooperative games. For example, in small groups they can work together with puzzles.
