These items from Lakeshore Learning will be used to help my students learn to regulate their emotions. Many students in my classroom are easily overwhelmed by different sensory inputs, like loud noises and bright lights. The quiet time privacy cube will give individual students a space to go where they feel safe and secure. The cozy corner canopy and teardrop bean bag chair will provide a space students can sit when they are upset and would be a comfortable spot where they can dry their tears and take a few deep breaths. The weighted puppy shoulder wrap can be worn by students to provide a comforting weight on their torso.
