Students will own these books and not have to worry about due dates or damaging borrowed property. Hopefully, they will love these books, reread them, share them, read them to younger siblings. I want them to view reading as enjoyable and something they can share with others. I will not be asking them comprehension questions or summarizing what they read. I will ask them what they liked best about the book and why they would want to read it again, and why they would recommend it to another person.
