  • Math Manipulatives for Engagement

    Funded Dec 15, 2024

Thank you for helping fulfill this project. I am so excited to have these resources to help make my lessons more meaningful and accessible to my students. The group I have this year works very hard and will appreciate these items. Please know that your donation truly makes a difference in the education of a group of great kids.”

  • Classroom Necessities for the New Year

    Funded May 24, 2024

Thank you for your contribution to my classroom. Being at a Title 1 school can often make it hard to get all the supplies we need. Your donation will help with basic necessities as well as STEM toys to help with my students imagination and critical thinking. Your donation means more than you know.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Lovett

  • Classroom Rug for Engagement

    Funded Jan 3, 2024

We did it! Thank you for helping to fund my new class project! My students are very excited for the new carpet that is on its way. Without your help this project would not have been possible to fulfill. My students and I truly appreciate your contribution. Happy new year!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Lovett

  • Classroom Necessities

    Funded May 10, 2023

Thank you for your contributions to my classroom! We have been able to enrich our learning because of some of these items. Other items from the list have helped to fulfill our basic needs in the classroom. When students have all the materials they need, they are able to focus on learning and growing.

The large number line was particularly helpful for students to understand rounding to the nearest 10 and 100. Being able to get up and physically see why we round up or down was meaningful for them. The sentence strip stamp was also helpful in math as we are learning to explain our thinking and math strategies.

Meanwhile, the ninja life skills books are used during our social emotional learning segment of community meeting. After a year and a half at home, many students have needed intervention in this area.

Again, thank you. The impact of your donation reaches my students every day.”

  • Flexible Seating to Start the Year

    Funded Sep 8, 2023

Thank you for your generous donations for flexible seating in my classroom! My students will greatly benefit from being able to move around the room to collaborate. They will also be able to use this flexible seating to take breaks and regulate their emotions. I look forward to seeing how my students use these new classroom features.”

  • Chromebooks for Third Grade

    Funded Oct 27, 2022

Thank you so much for your donation to our third grade classroom and eighth grade yearbook club. You are helping to provide an equitable school experience for my students. Many times, a Chromebook may break and the only way to fix it is for a parent to bring it to a repair site. The Chromebooks you helped to purchase make it so students have a computer to use while theirs is being repaired. After school, the yearbook club uses these computers to design pages in this year's memory book. These Chromebooks are used every single day thanks to you!”

  • Engaging Lessons ‘til June

    Funded May 6, 2022

Thank you for your contribution to my classroom by donating to a Teachers Pay Teachers gift card. At the end of the school year, I was able to purchase engaging lessons for my students for the end of the year when morale was low. I had a large balance remaining so I used it this year with my third graders. I am doing scaffolded small group instruction to fill in learning gaps and with this money I was able to purchase additional resources. I purchased math games to make kits to practice fluency and reasoning for different skills. I also purchased a science curriculum to accompany my textbooks to boost engagement. Your donation has gone a long way and positively impacted over 100 children (with more to come). Thank you for valuing education.”

  • Camera for Yearbook Club

    Funded Apr 7, 2022

Thank you for your contribution to the yearbook club. This camera saved the day when we were not able to get portraits for the yearbook in time. In addition to headshots, this camera was used by students to capture memories of various events. Students were also able to experiment with their artistic side by taking portraits as well as sports photography. This year, my new yearbook club students have gotten a head start on their planning. I have trained my first group of students to use the camera and in the coming weeks I will be able to train more. This is not only a way to have a creative outlet but also gives students transferrable skills. Unfortunately the quality of the photos is too high to be uploaded, so I have attached some student photos from other cameras. Thank you for valuing education and taking a role in providing an equitable school experience for my students.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Lovett

  • iPad for Math

    Funded Dec 18, 2021

In my math classroom, the iPad and Apple Pencil have had a great impact in the flow and organization of the classroom. These items have saved the day in many different situations. The use of these tech items has helped tremendously with classroom engagement. After virtual learning for a year and a half, my students have struggled with the adjustment back to routines and certain expectations. Getting to use the class iPad encourages students at all different grade levels to "buy-in," whether it is by playing a review game, completing a worksheet in GoodNotes, or harnessing their creativity and creating anchor charts that the rest of the students then use. The use of the Apple Pencil is especially enticing, since it is a way to bridge their creativity, technology, and math content. My students and I truly appreciate your donation and I am glad this technology will be used by my students for years to come.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Lovett

The last time my middle school students had a normal school year was in the fourth and fifth grade. Since then, the subject matter has become more rigorous but my students' needs were not supported in the virtual setting. The iPad and Apple Pencil will help students make a bridge between virtual learning and classroom learning. Many of my students have had trouble adjusting to typical classroom work and are struggling with motivation, following routines, and academics, as well as written work. This iPad will help in all of those areas. Thank you!
