I am requesting Teacher Pay Teacher gift cards to acquire more games. Games are fun ways to enhance and develop skills used socially and academically. We use the games in an ESL class to learn various skills. Early skills could include; taking turns, joint attention, tracking, answering questions, vocabulary, and increasing comprehension. Later skills could include; developing social and reasoning skills, producing correct grammar and syntax, understanding inference, and improving memory and vocabulary.
Playing games in a classroom setting increases motivation to learn, participate and compete while having fun with peers.
Articulation games are a fun and exciting way to learn to improve speech sounds. The games provide a visual and auditory model that gives multiple activities for target sound practice.
