With a desk that is adjustable in height, I will be able to have students collaborate with each other by offering a table for them to all gather around. This table makes it easy for students who want to stand to have a place to go to stand and work. I would also be able to do small group sessions with my students and have a general area for us to meet. I have a lot of students who would prefer to stand at times to work on their assignments versus sitting and this would meet their needs.
