I am seeking assistance in funding the purchase of recess equipment for my upper elementary students to enjoy. My fifth graders are not able to use the playground at our elementary school because it is too childish. Instead, my students use the track and field area. My students often get into trouble during recess because they do not have access to equipment to play organized games. With the addition of sports equipment, my teaching partners and I would be able to run some organized games with the students during this time. This would not only make our recess time more enjoyable, but also teach my students valuable team skills.
