These computers and headsets are desperately needed to enhance my students' learning. In the recent diagnostic test conducted in my classroom, 75% of my students scored two and three grade levels below their targeted grade level. We have implemented the Read 180/Systems 44 programs to help target our students' deficits and improve their reading levels. For this program to be successful, we need properly working computers and noise-reducing headsets with microphones. The computers and headsets will help them pass the state's exam in 2022. Many of these students failed the FSA. The correct technology will make a big difference in completing the daily intervention lessons.
