My students have amazing online resources through technology but I feel like they are missing a hands-on approach to learning time, fractions, and geometry. These manipulatives will be able to introduce math concepts and be great center practice. I am constantly needing resources to video or send home with struggling learners. I think these would be a great tool for home and school setting learning. I envision introducing geometric shapes by letting students observe, feel, and discuss the hands-on manipulatives to spark curiosity. Then I would introduce vocabulary based on the observations they have communicated to the class. Time and fractions both have great ways to show their thinking and check their understanding of a skill.
