The pandemic has brought on real challenges for both teachers and students. Being a teacher, I had to find effective digital programs, learn how to use Zoom, and figure out how to keep my students engaged when teaching them. In October, teachers moved back into the school building where many of us are teaching both students physically in the classroom and students virtually simultaneously. This has been another hurdle for teachers to overcome. During these challenging times, I realized that the computer I am using is not as effective because it does not allow me to multitask due to a constant battery overheat. Getting a more powerful and reliable computer, will allow me to multitask by implement digital tools into my virtual classrooms, meet with my students on Zoom without lagging, create video content for teaching, communicate with both students and parents, and find valuable digital resources and tools.
