  • Movement Path: All for 1 and 1 for All!

    Funded Feb 4, 2021

Thank you so much for your generous contribution to this project! So many students benefit from a resource to be able to help calm their bodies and return to class! Teachers love that the students aren’t being distracted and aren’t distracting other students. I am SO EXCITED to get started on this project! Thank you again!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Zittlow

  • Sit! Stay!

    Funded Feb 3, 2021

Thank you so much for your generosity and genuine care for these students who learn a bit differently then others. I wish I could share the feeling of pride I get to feel as I see my students ‘blend in’ with their classmates. These seats will help them be able to focus on the teacher and not their need to move! Their classroom teachers thank you as well!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Zittlow

This will allow me to create a movement path in each grade level to provide students a way to get rid of energy caused by stress, restlessness or a disability. In 5th grade, a hopscotch with letters in the squares- challenges include: only step on squares with letters from your name/the month/etc. Another activity is feet print facing the way in which you must land as you jump to each space (turning). Handprints for wall walks and a chair shape for wall sits. These activities are for all students who need a break and a quick walk is not enough!
