This classroom project was brought to life by Mission Tiger and 2 other donors.

I would like to acquire softball gloves to challenge my students to learn and master a game that is rarely played in the community - the game of softball. However, the students are yearning to become well-rounded athletes. These materials will assist our classes in assembling and becoming a competitive team. The physical education department is trying to come up with as many outdoor activities as possible this year due to the dangers of being inside in closed spaces due to COVID-19. We currently have equipment but we do not have any gloves or protective gear. These are essential to ensuring safety while at play. Not only will we be teaching the sport of softball, but we will be working on other skills such as throwing, catching, hand-eye coordination, teamwork, sportsmanship, and hustle.
