  • Vibrant and Effective Learning

    Funded Feb 10, 2022

Thank you so much for finding this project! It will mean so much to the students! They are a very creative group and you were able to provide them accessibility to create while learning. Please stay on the look out of what they will write in creating their books. Thank you so much in believing in this project.”

    With gratitude,

  • Traveling Through Reading

    Funded Feb 19, 2021

It has been such an honor for you all to choose this project. It has been wonderful to have access to multicultural books at hand. Having a diverse student population, this is extremely important to have representation. It has created age-appropriate conversations during reading time, and it has helped create better connections amongst my students.

We were also able to have a lesson on folktales from around the world! That was a very cool experience to include a few of these books in the lesson. It was exciting and it definitely sparked interest.

We are more than grateful to have the opportunity to be able to provide this for them!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Ivey

  • Helping My Students Learn Through Everyday Supplies

    Funded Feb 19, 2021

Thank you so much for your generous donations towards everyday supplies. These supplies have maximized how I am able to serve the students. Having a printer, I was able to create and provide learning activities for the students.

The students have been loving the paper books that are printed for them to take home. A variety of books were created for them such as: literature books they can color in, bilingual leveled readers, and books without any words where they can create their own story.

Having these basic supplies has opened many opportunities to create an immersive learning experience to the students, and we couldn't be more grateful.”

    With gratitude,

  • Materials for Mindfulness

    Funded Apr 21, 2021

Thank you soooo much for your generosity! This really mean so much!

This is stepping stone of creating a safe/ mindful space for the students! Mental health knows no age and during these unprecedented times, to have space to welcome students to decompress is extremely important. Thank you for helping to make this possible. It will not go unnoticed.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Ivey

The items that I am requesting are both beneficial for me, as well as the students. Having a printer will help me print, scan, and upload documents and learning activities for school and at-home learning. The kids love creating and doing fun activities at home that engage learning. I created a lesson plan where students can create a bilingual book that can be printed to take home. With materials, not only do they learn new English words but can build a connection to some of the learned vocabulary to their native language.
