Teaching with Technology
Funded Aug 15, 2023Thank you so much for contributing to my project. My students love all of the items that I received, and these items are definitely contributing to student success in my classroom.
I have been able to use my new printer and laminating machine to print out and laminate all kinds of review games and other math activities that will last for many years to come and will not have to be reprinted each time they are used. These two items have contributed so much more to my class than I ever imagined.
The document camera I received has also been a game changer in my classroom. I am now able to display and write on a document that is not on my computer, making it much easier to demonstrate different skills that I am teaching.
My students also love the large magnetic coordinate plane that I received. They are able to go to the board and practice graphing points instead of just always doing them at their desk.
The snacks that I received have also been a huge hit on game day/review day. They love being the winner and getting to pick from the snack basket.
Thanks again for making this project possible for me and my students. It is greatly appreciated.”

Funded Feb 10, 2022Thank you so much for contributing to my project. My students were so excited when they saw the materials I received. They couldn't wait to use everything.
I did not have any dry erase boards to use for board races & other types of reviews, so the sheet protectors and dry erase markers became an invaluable resource for those types of things. It was amazing to see them actually want to review a topic this way instead of just using paper and pencil.
The spiral notebooks I received also made a considerable difference in classroom management. My students were able to leave the notebooks in class and use them for their daily bell ringers. I didn't have to worry about my students showing up to class without their notebooks which had been a constant battle before receiving them.
Again, thank you for contributing to my project and contributing to the success of my students.”

Mrs. Hisaw
