Printer to Help Progress!
Funded Oct 10, 2022Thank you so much for my printer! I haven't had a color printer since mine broke and the school wasn't able to replace it. They are expensive and I thank you so much for your donations!
I have already printed out color vocabulary cards for my word wall as well as my sound spelling cards and put them up as resources for the kindergarten students.
They absolutely love coming up to the word wall to grab a word and write a sentence about it and draw a corresponding picture.
I also printed out some pumpkin matching CVC cards that I plan to use for all of November! It is a great resource to help the students sound out and blend the words together. You've truly given us the resources we've been missing! We're on our way to becoming readers and writers now!”

Funded Feb 28, 2022We were so excited to use our new resources. We did a watercolor art inspired by Picasso. The colors are very vibrant and long lasting on our new watercolor paper.
Students were so excited to do the watercolors. They were even more excited when they saw the magnatiles. I received 2 boxes and it is more than enough for them. They are sharing and working collaboratively and so excited to use them. I typically switch out the mainpulatives so they don't get bored, but they have been going on 2 weeks with such engagement and collaboration!
The next steps are to incorporate the 3D shapes in math that we have been doing. Students will be creating the 3D shapes we have been learning about so it is a little more structured. Students will also continue watercoloring farm animals in our upcoming unit this May. Thank you so much!!!”

Writing Our Way Through Kindergarten!
Funded Apr 6, 2021Thank you so much for replenishing our much needed resources. The journals were so nice and so much more durable than the flimsy ones we used throughout the year.
They were so excited to write in their new journals. After all, any materials or gifts are so much more appreciated during COVID. The supplies including the whiteboard markers and glue sticks put a smile on their faces. Some of them were completely out of glue and had dried up markers. I cannot thank you enough for giving them the tools they need to learn and succeed.
Students got to keep the supplies and since it's the last day of the year, students were encouraged to continue using the supplies and continue writing in their journals. Thank you so much! We finished out our COVID year with everything we needed, thanks to you!”

Funded Feb 3, 2021I cannot thank you enough for the wonderful art supplies. They came in just in time to finish off our year with our insect/spring/plants unit and our farm unit.
With your donation, our class made beautiful masterpieces including painted butterflies and flowers, a painted Mother's Day card, chalk pastel insects and roosters, and oil pastel pigs, cows, and sheep. They are so stunning and they each have so much character!!!
Students were so happy to get their very own sets of supplies. They have been so responsible during this pandemic and have kept their supplies safe and ready to go.
We are finishing the year with our ocean unit and I seriously cannot wait to dive into some sea animal art with the supplies you've given us. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. I've never seen the students more focused than they are during art time. They are so engaged and follow directions. Their art ends up so beautiful time and time again. Thank you!”
