This laptop will make a difference in my students' learning as I will be able to teach from home more efficiently with the use of a personal laptop. Meaning, whenever we are doing the online sessions I project a PowerPoint in order for my students to have something tangible to follow. There are instances that I have to share my screen to do those interactive activities like 99Math, Kahoots, Nearpods, etc. Once I am sharing my screen I am no longer able to see and interact with my students unless I pause the activity. This can end up being time-consuming or will result in me losing the focus of the students unintentionally. My current laptop I have had since I was in college. It has very limited functions and prevents me from being as creative as can be. Some of my keys are missing, the speakers are worn out to the point that only a headphone can work with it. Even with the headphones, the static feedback is very disrupting and oftentimes ends with me clicking off the laptop. With this new laptop, I will be able to explore more of those online resources in order to be able to provide more rich and interactive lessons.
