Second grade is such a fun year as students are becoming more confident in their reading and comprehension. My students love to read the chapter books I have already in my classroom. I am asked on a daily basis if I can get more Magic Treehouse and Fairy books. By donating to our project you will give my students the ability to continue their adventures not only at school but also at home. I believe it is important for students to develop a love for reading at a young age. My students have begun to understand that reading can take you on all sorts of different adventures. By allowing them to pick the books they want to read gives them the ability to decide on their own adventures.
