Most young adults that are in high school have learned how to cook a basic meal, use kitchen tools and they know how to sort and wash clothes. Our students tend to struggle to master this independent living skill due to their disabilities. The main goal is to prepare them for their future daily life skills by teaching them how to prepare and serve basic meals under little or no supervision and to wash, dry and fold clothes. These skills will help them so that they share with their friends and family through lessons that they learn using the tools purchased through this project.
