Learning to read becomes exciting when books are shared with a friend or two! My pre and emergent readers need a comfy and inviting place to sit and explore books. Pictures and words jump off the page when conversation and imagination are abundant and unbridled. This couch and chair set will provide enough space for small groups of children to comfortably talk about pictures and examine print on the pages of our best loved books! As the children learn to read and communicate with one another, friendships are formed and fostered that last beyond the walls of our classroom. Thank you for considering this project!
