I would like to thank you for the document camera that you made happen for my class. I am not going to lie, but I had a hard time using it the first couple of days. I had one of my friends come and explain a few times. Finally, I was able to understand how to operate it and it has been amazing. I love it!!
I am able to project an activity and my little ones can follow along. I model and they see what I'm doing. I used to share my screen but sometimes the internet reception is so bad that it made it impossible. Now I don't have to worry about internet issues.
I project straight from the document camera and my students seem to have a clear understanding of what I'm teaching. We definitely all love it!!

Learning has become a challenge for all students with the recent pandemic. As educators, we want to provide the safest environment for all our learners. I have students face-to-face in the classroom as well as virtual. I am required to teach both groups simultaneously. The use of a document camera in the classroom will help me teach both groups safely and at a distance. It will help in person as well as at home. This will be a great tool to have should I have to teach from home if our campus shuts down our in-person classes. They will get to see books that we are reading, how to write, how to hold a pencil correctly, etc.
