Engaging Library needed for Students with Special Needs
Funded Nov 2, 2023Upon learning that our classroom library will grow, all students in my classroom were very excited. Students are greatly looking forward to learning about a variety of different non-fiction topics, as well as listening to fiction stories during morning circle time. Thank you so much for giving the gift of adventure and literature!”

A Classroom as Special as the Rainbow
Funded Aug 31, 2023It is with a tremendous amount of gratitude that I send this thank you letter. With your donation, you have helped to create a safe and welcoming space for all students. We look forward to using our decorations to fill our classroom with color, joy, and positive vibes. We are looking forward to using the decorations to greet others to our classroom with our hallway bulletin board. Most of all, we look forward to use the decorations to facilitate learning with morning circle time around our new calendar.”

Sight Words, Fidgets, and Headphones for the Resource Classroom
Funded Sep 23, 2021My classroom and I are so grateful for the donations. All of the students were so excited when they saw we had received simple dimples, fidgets, noise cancelling headphones, and best of all, their own set of sight word flash cards.
The simple dimples have been a great start to our class treasure chest. Students are working super hard to focus and limit their distractions in order to earn stars, complete the reward chart, and receive a simple dimple.
The noise cancelling headphones have all found a student owner. They are unbelievably helpful for recesses, the cafeteria, assemblies, fire drills, or simply when the classroom gets too noisy. The noise-cancelling headphones have help prevented many meltdowns.
We are also loving the fidget cubes. When students are on the carpet or listening to a story, they are allowed to quietly use fidgets, and you would be surprised at how well the fidgets can improve listening comprehension.
Lastly, the sight word flash cards have been a saving grace in our classroom. Students use flashcards to play games and have word reading competitions. Students also love the the fact that they have their own set to take home and practice.
Thank you so much for all your help and support!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Chelsea
