In Special Education, teachers bounce from classroom to classroom, and group to group, providing specialized instruction based on a student’s needs. A Chromebook in my classroom would mean easy access to assistive technology such as speech to text or a screen reader. It would also mean the ability to access curriculum materials no matter where my aides are in the school. It would also provide a great reinforcement and motivation system as my students work towards earning time on the computer. It would mean more opportunities to create a rich learning environment where my students can learn and grow!
