Writing Tablet to Enhance Online Teaching

This classroom project was brought to life by The Peterson Family and 2 other donors.

This writing tablet will allow my students to follow my instruction in real time online as I walk them through how to solve complicated environmental science calculations. Now I have to write out the steps ahead of time on paper, upload a picture of the solution and passively walk my students through it. This is not nearly as engaging and effective as having the students follow along as I write out the solution in real time. It will help students stay engaged and focused in an online learning environment, which is very challenging for many students with attention issues. This tablet will bring me as close to a real in-person classroom environment as I can create in a virtual, online environment.
