Thank you for supporting my project "Help Students Have a Ball". Due to the pandemic, I had to become creative in ways to provide students with activities to perform at home.
My students were so excited to receive the news that there were people in the community who cared about them. Your generosity has left a profound impact on us all.

This classroom project was brought to life by Livia & Biz Stone and 3 other donors.

My K-5 physical education students have been sitting in front of computers for months due to COVID 19. While I have been creative in developing lessons, the students are missing out on critical opportunities to learn due to the lack of equipment they have at home. I seek to purchase one ball per student to develop hand-eye coordination, rhythm, throwing and catching skills. I will include lessons across the curriculum by including math and reading skills. Physical activity is important in helping children grow and develop into healthy individuals. Research has shown physical activity helps students perform better in school. I look forward to providing my students with an opportunity to improve their physical, mental and educational skills with a playground ball.
