I am currently teaching 600 students, in grades TK-8th grade, engineering virtually. The items that I have requested would allow me to do a better job delivering content to the students. I am showing them demonstrations of electrical engineering as well as science and physics topics, and it would be a better experience for them if I was able to use a document camera to show them instead of trying to balance my camera to do so. These items would significantly help my students to have a better virtual learning experience in my class.
I plan to use the document camera to be able to read books to my students. After we read the book, we work on learning about engineering topics relating to the book. Then, we work on a building project. Having a document camera would make all of these things possible.
In my older classes we use Arduino in order to learn coding and electrical engineering. For my older students, I will be able to demonstrate how to wire an Arduino and students will be able to follow along easier.
