The materials requested will be used in the special education classroom for exceptional learners in an at risk community. I am a first year special education teacher and I really needed help purchasing some of the sensory items children need in a special education setting. Sometimes the scholars just need to get the wiggles out while learning. Having alternative seating that will help a student stay focused and adjusted will increase learning and help with hyperactivity. Tangible sensory items give students the movement that they need while sitting reading, listening to the teacher or working on a computer.
