Each student in the class has special needs and require a great deal of hands on activities for learning. All the students benefit from repetition of activities to learn new skills and to maintain previously acquired skills. Because each student is unique, they need specially designed learning activities which will help them develop skills needed for life. One way that students get individualized learning is by creating file folder activities that are laminated for durability. Each student has their own folders. Some of the kids work on matching colors while other kids match sight words. With kids on different academic levels, there is always a need to create more file folders to keep up with their ever changing needs. Supplies do not last long when kids are learning and new skills need developing and reinforced.
