Constant Practice = Math Proficiency
Funded Sep 3, 2024When I found out that my project starts getting funded, I told my students about it in my excitement, and they also got excited. They told me that they'd tell their parents to also donate to the project.
I can't thank you enough for getting the classroom supplies to our school in time when my students need them most. Our project materials came in the middle of September when my students have started gaining the momentum to show their proficiency in the learning goals for their courses. They were very grateful when they found out that they now have the materials that they need to continue working on their practice problems - lined papers, pencils and erasers, index cards, pencil sharpeners - materials that we have run short of because the school did not provide new supplies for the fall semester for lack of funding. I will not allow scarcity of materials to be in the way of learning for my students. Thank you so much for helping me achieve that one goal for them.
When my students learned that the project has been fully funded, they kept asking me almost every day when the materials would arrive. I can never forget those big eyes of Alina, an 8th grader in my Accelerated Algebra class, when she saw the lined papers and said, "Thank God! Now I don't have to rip out the pages of my notebook" with a wide smile on her face. They started writing the math ideas on the index cards that they would use for their Learning Goal 1B Mastery test. How I love to see them do Math with a lot of enthusiasm!”

Funded May 11, 2023I cannot thank you enough for your generosity to my students. Your calculator donations have allowed my students to solve math problems more accurately, thus helping them demonstrate proficiency in the learning goals in math. They are very excited to use the new calculators that replaced the old ones that would usually turn off while they solve problems. Not only do they help my own kids. They also help the academic pentathletes and decathletes of our school during their competitions.
Again, in behalf of all the students that have been impacted by your kindness, thank you very much!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Dizon
