Calming Corner

I cannot thank you enough for your contributions to our Counselor's Calming Corner. I was able to purchase bean bags, a tent, a soft lamp, an essential oil diffuser, and a rug with ocean wave print. Many students step into my office each day, and they almost always say right away, "wow, your office is so calming, or "I really like it in here." Even the staff will come in to sit sometimes to catch their breath or just have a minute of peace. I feel so lucky to be able to provide this space to the students and staff here at Loomis. I am excited to continue with this project and space by adding some sensory components for students who may be having a difficult day or those students with Autism.”
