Sport Opportunities for the Youth!!!

the new resources has made a major impact for my Physical Education courses. My students have started to use the tennis equipment such as the tennis nets, racquets and balls during our lessons. I plan to teach my students the basic tennis skills that are necessary to participate in the sport. The tennis skills my students are currently learning are the backhand, front hand and overhead serve.

My students were pleasantly excited to see the new equipment. I have taught my students in years past all the techniques to participate in a tennis game, but was never able to have my students actually play a game due to the lack of actual tennis nets. So now that we have all the equipment we need to play tennis, my students have been excited and looking forward to participate in actual games of tennis.

The next steps for my students is to continue to teach them new sporting activities that have not yet had the pleasure to enjoy. Since we have also received Golf equipment, my students will be engaged in using striking manipulatives such as golf clubs which will be used to hit to golf balls into a designated target.
