Classroom Glass Harp!
Funded Jun 13, 2022Thank you so much for your contributions to Fremont students this summer. They had a blast creating their boomwhackers, rainsticks, and a class glass harp. They enjoyed learning how different lengths of tubing create different sounds, and how different levels of water create different pitches on a glass harp. We are an engineering academy, and it is so valuable when we are able to provide the STEAM experience, including the "A" for arts along with science and math skills. We are so appreciative of your donations, as we would not otherwise be able to engage in these types of activities. Thank you, again.”

Bucket Drumming!
Funded Apr 22, 2021During summer school this year, the my middle school students were thrilled to be able to learn bucket drumming, thanks to your donations. We explored rhythm in multiple musical genres, including music suggestions that the students brought to class. For most students, this was their first exposure to the world of music performance.
Amongst the challenges of this school year, is the reacclimating of students to the classroom. These materials are helping give students the opportunity to expend energy in a healthy and productive way, while learning elements of music in the process. My students and I are very grateful for your donations to our program. It truly does take a village :)”
