  • Bouncing Into Focus!

    Funded Feb 21, 2022

All the kids have absolutely loved these bouncing bands! When one has trouble focusing, they can pull themselves back in after a few bounces! From trying to 'outbounce' their friends to trying to concentrate harder on an important test, these kiddos have enjoyed having these in class. We had long discussions and wrote papers on what we felt it would be like to have these on our chairs and the kids were so excited to actually get them! We cannot thank you enough for your kind generosity and donations. Thank you so much for caring and sharing!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Mercer

  • Staying Healthy and Hydrated in 3rd and 4th Grade!

    Funded Oct 4, 2021

My students have enjoyed having fresh water available at all times by using these water bottles. Having these bottles also eliminates time in the hallway and keeps us from losing valuable instructional minutes.

When my students first heard that this project was funded they went wild!! They were so excited!! Upon arrival of the water bottles my students could not wait to fill them and have them on hand. Alot of people don't realize that some kids are too shy to ask to go get a drink of water or are afraid they may miss something important in class. Having these filled and readily available prevents this awkwardness for them while keeping them hydrated.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Mercer

During Covid, students are not allowed to drink from our water fountains. Students were asked to bring in water bottles to keep filled but most of our students cannot afford the extra cost. Providing water bottles for each student ensures they stay hydrated and healthy at school! With your help and support, my students will have the opportunity to enjoy fresh water throughout the day which will help them stay focused on the task. Many students worry about having enough to eat and drink. One way we can lesson their worries is to provide water bottles and let them use our water filters to keep them filled.
