Multiculturalism is most effective when introduced at an early age; since it builds a young child's self-confidence, it also increases children's awareness, appreciation, and inclusion of diverse beliefs and cultures. The resurces I have selected will allow me to create and equal educational opportunities for all students since the classroom materials will reflect the students I serve. The chosen literature will be a stepping stone for the learner to expand by expressing themselves and their culture through projects and other visuals that might depict their culture. It will also allow me to introduce other cultures to my students. They will learn to embrace their culture and how unique their culture is with their customs and traditions. Now I cannot do so since I service a very diverse community, but their schools have limited resources to supply such enrichment to my students. I would be grateful for any support on my project.
